Lateral Partner — Energy & Environmental, Silicon Valley

A leading national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to build and lead its energy and environmental practice from its Silicon Valley office. The role focuses on advising energy-sector clients on regulatory, permitting, and compliance matters, and handling high-stakes environmental matters tied to transactions and operations.

The team values deep U.S. environmental regulatory experience and a background representing energy companies, project developers, and investors. This is a hands-on role with senior client responsibility, mentoring of junior lawyers, and active participation in business development.

• Established partner with a proven energy/environmental practice and significant regulatory experience in the U.S. market.
• Track record of senior-level client relationships and the ability to generate or bring portable business.
• Strong leadership, client management, and business development skills; ability to mentor associates and lead cross‑disciplinary matters.
• Active admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction (or ability to become admitted).
