Leading international energy team in Brussels is seeking a lateral partner to reinforce its regulatory practice. The role focuses on high-value regulatory and finance-related matters across the energy sector, advising clients on complex Belgian and EU regulatory issues.

The successful candidate will join a market-facing group and be expected to build and lead mandates, collaborate across transactional and finance teams, and contribute to practice development in the region. A portable practice or demonstrable client relationships will be an important part of the assessment.

Established partner-level experience in energy regulatory work, including EU and Belgian market knowledge.
Track record advising on regulatory and finance aspects of energy transactions and projects.
Proven business development capability and a portable client base or demonstrable client relationships.
Bar qualification in a relevant jurisdiction; proficiency in local languages advantageous.
