Leading international law firm seeks a partner to join its Finance & Banking practice in Berlin. The role will focus on originating and leading complex banking and finance matters for a mix of domestic and cross-border clients.

The successful candidate will join an established team and be expected to develop client relationships, lead transactions, and mentor junior lawyers. A portable practice or demonstrable ability to generate new business is highly desirable.

Established partner-level experience in banking and finance transactions (loan facilities, acquisition finance, and related matters).
Admitted to practice in Germany or eligible for admission; strong German-language skills.
Proven track record of client origination and leading deal teams; ability to develop business in the German market.
Experience working on cross-border matters and collaborating with international teams.
