Leading national law firm is looking to hire a partner to strengthen its finance & banking practice in the Berlin office. The role focuses on advising banks, lenders and corporate borrowers on a range of banking and finance matters, including transactions, regulatory issues and refinancing work.

The successful candidate will lead client engagements, originate new business and mentor junior lawyers within a busy team. The role offers a senior platform with broad institutional support and opportunities to build a portable practice in Germany.

Established partner-level banking & finance practitioner with a track record of leading transactions and client relationships
Demonstrable business development experience and ability to originate or grow a portable practice
Qualified to practice in Germany (or equivalent) with strong knowledge of German banking and finance law
Fluent German and strong English; proven team leadership and mentoring skills
