Leading international finance and corporate practice is seeking a lateral partner to be based in Brussels. The role will focus on asset management and investment management matters, advising on regulatory, transactional and fund-related work for cross-border clients.

The team handles complex, international mandates and works closely with colleagues across jurisdictions. The firm is looking for a technically exceptional lawyer who can contribute at partner level — strong deal experience, commercial judgment and the ability to work on cross-border matters are essential.

A portable practice or book of business is welcome but not required; the team values both business development ability and excellent technical skills.

Established partner-level experience in finance, asset management or investment management work.
Proven track record on cross-border transactional and/or regulatory matters in the investment management space.
Admission to practice in a relevant European jurisdiction; ability to work in Brussels and with EU law matters.
Strong drafting and client-facing skills; business development capability preferred.
