National law firm is seeking a lateral partner to expand and lead a multi-disciplinary healthcare and life sciences practice. The role will focus on transactional work (including traditional and private-equity-backed healthcare M&A), IP counseling for life-sciences clients, and healthcare litigation matters.

The successful candidate will join a team serving hospitals, payors, medical device and telemedicine companies, and life-sciences clients, handling matters such as M&A/transactional work, counseling on IP/prosecution in the life-sciences space, and defense-side healthcare litigation (including False Claims Act and managed-care disputes).

This is a partner-level opening for a lawyer with an established, portable practice and the ability to originate and develop client relationships across healthcare and life-sciences sectors.

Partner-level experience with a track record in healthcare and life-sciences transactions, counseling, or litigation.
Experience in healthcare M&A/transactions, and/or private-equity-backed healthcare deals.
Demonstrable experience advising on IP matters for life-sciences clients (counseling/prosecution) and healthcare-related litigation (including FCA defense and managed-care disputes).
Proven ability to generate and manage client relationships; portable book of business and origination capability expected.
Active bar admission and strong professional references.
