Lateral Partner — Insolvency & Restructuring, Montreal

Senior insolvency and restructuring lawyer sought for an opportunistic, culture-first partner hire in the Montreal office of a well-established national firm. The group is compact and collaborative, focused on building scalable, long-term growth rather than short-term harvesting.

The role offers a clear runway: initial entry as an income partner with a defined path to equity in due course for the right candidate. Portable business is helpful but not a strict requirement — priority is demonstrable capacity to generate future growth and to integrate into a finder–minder–grinder team model.

• Approximately 10–14 years' post-qualification experience in insolvency and restructuring law.
• Strong technical experience with creditor and debtor-side restructurings, insolvency proceedings, and related corporate/financial restructuring transactions.
• Proven ability to develop and grow a practice, collaborate across teams, and contribute to business development and client relationship building.
• Licensed to practise in Quebec (or eligible to become licensed) and based in Montreal.
