Seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow an insurance coverage practice in Houston. The role focuses on representing policyholders in complex coverage disputes and providing insurance counseling across commercial lines.

The successful candidate will join a well-established litigation team, handling contested coverage matters, bad faith and related insurance litigation, and advising clients on policy interpretation and risk-transfer issues. Portable business is welcome; the role includes client development and practice leadership responsibilities.

Proven partner-level experience defending or representing policyholders in insurance coverage disputes and related litigation
Deep knowledge of insurance policies, coverage analysis, and bad-faith/regulatory issues
Demonstrated ability to originate and maintain client relationships; portable book of business preferred
Strong trial and appellate advocacy skills and experience leading litigation teams
