Lateral Partner — Insurance Litigation, Palo Alto

Leading law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Palo Alto litigation team with a focus on insurance matters. The role emphasizes representation of policyholders in coverage disputes and providing insurance counseling and advice.

The successful candidate will handle complex coverage litigation, manage trial and appellate work as needed, and collaborate with broader litigation and insurance practices across the firm. This is a partner-level role where developing and maintaining client relationships and contributing to business growth are expected.

• Established partner with a primary practice in insurance coverage and insurance-related litigation representing policyholders.
• Proven litigation experience, including managing contested coverage matters and courtroom or appellate exposure.
• Strong counseling skills for advising clients on insurance strategy and risk allocation.
• Demonstrated business development ability and willingness to bring or grow a portable practice.
• Active bar admission in California (or ability to obtain) and excellent client-service, drafting, and advocacy skills.
