Established national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to strengthen its Intellectual Property and Litigation capabilities from the Houston office. The role will focus on patent and IP litigation as well as related corporate work; the team values partners who can both litigate complex matters and support transactional or governance matters for sophisticated clients.

Search priorities include experienced IP/patent litigators and corporate partners with portable practices who can generate and grow business. The firm is open to candidates across multiple U.S. offices and is particularly interested in lawyers willing to collaborate regionally.

Partner-level experience in IP litigation (including patent litigation) or corporate practice
Demonstrated client development and business generation; portable book of business strongly preferred
Track record of leading complex matters and mentoring junior lawyers
Admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction(s) and ability to work from the Houston office
