Lateral Partner — Intellectual Property — San Antonio

Well-established law firm seeking a lateral partner to join its San Antonio intellectual property practice. The role will involve leading IP matters across prosecution, counseling and enforcement, and working with clients across a range of industries.

The successful candidate will help grow and manage a busy practice, mentor junior lawyers, and collaborate with colleagues across offices to deliver practical, commercial legal services.

There is an expectation of partner-level business development; candidates with a portable practice or demonstrable ability to generate and expand client relationships are encouraged to apply.

• Proven partner-level experience handling intellectual property matters (prosecution, counseling, licensing, and/or litigation).
• Track record of client development and ability to grow a book of business or integrate a portable practice.
• Admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction; additional technical or patent-bar qualifications a plus where required by role.
• Strong leadership and mentoring experience working with associate teams and cross‑functional groups.
