Lateral Partner — Litigation, Washington, D.C.

Leading national law firm seeks an experienced litigation partner to join its Washington, D.C. litigation practice. The role focuses on high-stakes commercial litigation, regulatory matters and complex trials for a diverse set of institutional and corporate clients.

The team handles a broad range of dispute work (excluding IP prosecution) and values candidates who can bring demonstrable courtroom experience, strategic case management skills, and the ability to develop and mentor junior lawyers. A portable practice or demonstrable client relationships are welcome.

• Established partner-level litigation experience in commercial disputes, trials and appeals.
• Proven courtroom and/or significant contested litigation experience.
• Portable client relationships or a demonstrable ability to originate and grow business.
• Strong legal writing, advocacy and client-management skills.
• Admission to the D.C. bar or eligibility to obtain admission.
