Leading maritime team seeks a lateral partner to join its Hamburg office. The role focuses on transactional shipping work across international markets, advising on ship sale and purchase, chartering, and related commercial matters.
The successful candidate will join a collaborative, sector-focused practice and work closely with senior shipping lawyers on complex cross-border mandates. Strong client-facing skills and the ability to develop new business in the maritime sector are essential.
- Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
- Qualified lawyer with approximately 3-5 years' experience in maritime/shipping transactional work
- Proven drafting, analytical and negotiation skills
- Fluent in German and English; strong communication and client management abilities
