Leading law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Tax practice with a focus on energy matters in the Orange County market. The role will advise corporate and project clients on federal and state tax issues arising in energy transactions and operations.

The position requires a partner who can lead engagements, collaborate with transactional and regulatory teams, and help grow a market-facing tax capability in the region. Candidates with an existing energy tax practice or portable client relationships will be strongly considered.

Established partner with substantial tax experience, ideally focused on energy or infrastructure.
Bar admission in California and ability to practice in the U.S. tax environment.
Proven record of leading engagements and working with transactional and regulatory teams.
Demonstrable client development experience; portable practice or origination ability preferred.
