We are seeking a Singapore-qualified Legal Associate to join a growing Debt Capital Markets practice. The successful candidate will work closely with partners and clients on a broad range of domestic and cross-border debt capital markets transactions across Asia.

The role involves advising issuers, underwriters, financial institutions and corporate borrowers on sophisticated financing and capital-raising transactions, while collaborating with the wider Banking & Finance team on complex, multi-jurisdictional matters.

Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing and negotiating transaction documentation; assisting in structuring and executing cross-border debt offerings; conducting legal due diligence; advising on regulatory, disclosure and compliance requirements; and coordinating with local and international counsel, regulators, trustees and paying agents.

Singapore-qualified lawyer with at least 1 to 3 years' PQE
Relevant experience in Debt Capital Markets, Capital Markets, Banking & Finance or Securities offerings from a reputable law firm
Experience advising on bond issuances, MTN programmes, securitisations or other debt financing transactions would be advantageous
Strong drafting, technical and transaction management skills
Commercially minded with the ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
