Apply in confidence →National leveraged finance team is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Fund Finance and Private Credit subgroup. The role will sit within a multi-office US platform and is open to candidates willing to work from any of the firm’s US offices.
You will work on fund finance, private credit, leveraged finance and related structured-debt matters for lenders and borrowers, supporting transactions from diligence and documentation through closing. The position involves substantial drafting, negotiation, legal research and direct client-facing work within a collaborative deal team.
- JD from an accredited law school and active admission in the state of practice
- Approximately 4 years of relevant leveraged finance, fund finance, private credit, debt capital markets or structured finance experience
- Proven drafting, negotiation and legal-research skills; strong attention to detail
- Experience at a major AmLaw firm or comparable transactional practice preferred
- Ability to manage transactions, work collaboratively and communicate clearly with clients and deal teams
