Leading US life-sciences practice seeks a mid-level associate with strong IP licensing and technology-transaction experience to join the Boston office. The role focuses on life-sciences transactions including technology transfer, patent and trademark licensing, collaboration and joint-development agreements, and related technology-services arrangements.

Fluency in Mandarin is required; experience working on matters involving Asia is strongly preferred. The team handles licensing and IP support for corporate transactions, including due diligence for deals and technology transfers.

3-5 years' experience in intellectual property licensing, technology transfer, or technology transactions
Fluency in Mandarin required; experience working in Asia preferred
Experience drafting and negotiating IP licenses, collaboration/joint-development agreements, SaaS and services agreements, and distribution arrangements
Experience performing IP and tech-transaction due diligence for corporate matters
Ability to work collaboratively and to manage substantial components of transactions independently
Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly; excellent written and verbal communication skills
