Top-tier life sciences licensing role for a mid-level associate to join an established intellectual property practice in New York. The role focuses on licensing, technology transfer and IP support for corporate and transactional matters in the life sciences and biotech sectors.

Fluency in Mandarin is required; experience working on transactions involving Asia is strongly preferred. The position involves drafting and negotiating patent/trademark licenses, collaboration and joint development agreements, technology and services agreements (including SaaS), distribution arrangements, and conducting IP-related due diligence for corporate transactions.

3-5 years post-qualification experience in IP licensing, technology transfer, or related life sciences transactions
Fluency in Mandarin; experience working on matters involving Asia preferred
Track record drafting and negotiating patent, trademark and technology/licensing agreements (including collaborations and SaaS/technology services)
Experience performing intellectual property and technology-transaction due diligence for corporate deals
Ability to work collaboratively in teams and manage substantial components of transactions independently; strong written and oral communication skills
Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly
