Apply in confidence →Seeking a litigation associate (remote-eligible) to join a national employer-defense employment & labor practice. The role focuses on defending employment litigation and administrative charges, counseling and training employers, and handling matters through trial, arbitration, agency proceedings and mediation.
The position is remote but applicants must be admitted to the California bar and eligible to practice in California. The role carries a target annual hours expectation (approximately 1,850 hours) and is open to attorneys at associate level or experienced counsel/of‑counsel level depending on years of California employment litigation experience.
- JD from an ABA‑accredited law school and strong academic credentials
- California bar admission required and ability to meet any applicable ethics/registration obligations
- Associate consideration: minimum ~4 years of California employment litigation experience
- Of Counsel consideration: generally 9+ years of California employment litigation experience with first‑chair capability
- Experience defending wage-and-hour, discrimination, retaliation, class/collective actions, PAGA or similar employer-side claims preferred
- Excellent written and oral advocacy, strong project/time management, and ability to manage high-volume litigation matters
