Apply in confidence →Our client, a leading global law firm with offices across the US, Europe, and Asia, is seeking an experienced M&A attorney to join its corporate practice as a Resource Attorney. This non-billable role is designed to support the firm's M&A practitioners by managing knowledge assets, drafting precedents, and advancing practice innovation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and auditing the firm's M&A transaction database, including inputting deal terms from signed transactions.
- Drafting and revising template documents and precedents; curating and organizing the group's forms and know-how.
- Monitoring legal and regulatory developments affecting M&A practice, preparing summaries and alerts, and ensuring resources reflect current law.
- Collaborating with the legal education team to develop associate training content.
- Supporting marketing initiatives, including pitch content, articles, and blog contributions.
- Responding to attorney requests for precedents, templates, and other resources, and participating in new knowledge management and practice innovation projects.
The ideal candidate will be a licensed attorney with at least 4 years of US M&A corporate/transactional experience, a solid understanding of public and private M&A, corporate governance, and board fiduciary duties, and strong drafting and organizational skills. Success requires attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to work collaboratively with a senior resource attorney.
