M&A Resource Attorney — Corporate (New York)

A leading global law firm is seeking an M&A Resource Attorney to join its Corporate group in New York. This is a non-client-facing, non-billable role focused on enabling the firm's transactional practitioners to work more efficiently and stay at the leading edge of the law.

Responsibilities span transaction database management — capturing deal terms from executed transactions and coordinating with knowledge management to audit and maintain the database — as well as preparing and revising template documents, curating the group's forms, precedents and other know-how, and monitoring legal and regulatory developments relevant to M&A practice.

The role also involves coordinating with the firm's legal education team on associate training content, partnering with the M&A marketing team on promotional content, pitches and teach-ins, fielding day-to-day requests from attorneys for precedents and templates, and contributing to broader knowledge management and practice innovation initiatives.

• Licensed attorney with at least 4 years of experience in a US M&A corporate/transactional practice
• Working knowledge of public and private M&A, corporate governance, board fiduciary duties and market trends
• Strong drafting and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and coordinate across stakeholders
• Flexibility and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
