We are seeking a mid-level associate to join a busy antitrust and foreign direct investment (FDI) team in Düsseldorf. The role offers early responsibility on national and cross-border matters, including merger control, investment-control (FDI) filings, Phase II proceedings and coordination of parallel international processes.

Work will include advising on cartel and competition investigations and litigation, competition aspects of M&A and commercial arrangements, and strategic compliance matters. The position involves regular interaction with international colleagues and clients and opportunities for secondments and pro bono projects.

Qualified German lawyer with several years' experience in antitrust/competition law — experience with FDI/investment-control matters preferred
Proven experience on national and cross-border merger control and cartel matters, including Phase II proceedings
