Mid-Level Corporate Associate (M&A and Securities)

Our client, an AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Corporate M&A and Securities practice in the firm's Tysons, Virginia office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 4-5 years of experience who is looking to join a collegial team within a large international platform that offers meaningful opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of experience in corporate law, with a strong emphasis on M&A and private equity transactions.
• Strong working knowledge of acquisition agreements and the full suite of documentation used in M&A and private equity transactions, with proficiency in drafting and negotiating these documents.
• A proven track record supporting private equity sponsors and portfolio companies across the investment lifecycle, including platform acquisitions, add-ons, portfolio company governance, and exits, is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with middle-market deal structures is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, high degree of maturity and business sense, and ability to effectively manage internal and external client relationships.
• Excellent academic credentials required; large national or international law firm experience preferred.
