An international law firm is seeking an experienced mid-level Associate to join one of its largest M&A teams in London. The team is a unified transactional practice group covering corporate M&A, private capital and capital markets, advising private and public companies, banks, governments and state entities across Europe, Asia and globally.

The role offers a broad diet of international work spanning some of the largest and most complex cross-border transactions as well as smaller deals carrying greater responsibility. You will advise on public and private M&A, including takeover bids, schemes of arrangement and competitive auction processes, alongside carve-outs, spin-offs, split-offs, joint ventures and strategic alliances.

Associates work across sectors including Financial Institutions, Technology and Telecoms, Energy & Infrastructure, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Industrials and Consumer Markets, collaborating with specialist teams in antitrust, finance, tax, employment, regulatory, technology, IP and data protection. The firm provides comprehensive training and career development for associates at all levels and encourages secondments within its international network and to clients.

England & Wales or common law qualified lawyer with a top class academic record
Corporate M&A experience involving cross-border transactions gained at a leading firm
Experience handling transactional workstreams with appropriate supervision
Strong technical drafting skills and commercial awareness
Excellent organisational and project management skills
Genuine interest or experience in the TMT, Energy & Infrastructure or Financial Institutions sectors
Right to work in the UK (offers conditional on securing and evidencing this)
