An established, market-leading Insurance and Reinsurance team is seeking a senior associate to advise insurers, brokers, intermediaries, financial institutions and commercial organisations on a broad range of regulatory and commercial insurance matters.

The role offers exposure to a varied, high-quality workload, including distribution arrangements, policy documentation and insurance-related transactional matters. You will work closely with partners and colleagues across a wider international insurance practice, contributing to practical and commercially focused advice on complex, business-critical issues.

The team combines deep sector knowledge with international reach, working across multiple offices and alongside specialists in insurance regulation, disputes, corporate transactions and financial services. It is trusted by major names in the insurance industry and recognised for delivering innovative solutions in an evolving regulatory landscape.

Qualified solicitor with experience gained within a leading law firm, in-house legal team or financial services environment.
At least 2 years' PQE, with experience in non-contentious insurance and insurance regulatory matters.
Good experience reviewing insurance policies.
Strong understanding of the FCA Handbook and the UK insurance regulatory framework.
Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, including binding authority and claims handling agreements.
Excellent analytical and communication skills, with commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
Ability to manage competing priorities within a collaborative team environment.
Interest in developing a long-term career within the insurance sector.
