An Am Law 20 firm is seeking a mid-level to senior associate (4–7 years' experience) to join its ERISA and Executive Compensation practice in New York.

The role involves working within teams as well as independently managing components of transactions. The associate will represent public and private companies on tax and securities law issues relating to equity-based arrangements and other incentive compensation plans.

Experience with ERISA and employee benefit plans is a plus. The firm fosters a collaborative, collegial and entrepreneurial atmosphere across practice areas and offices.

4–7 years of relevant experience
Experience representing public and private companies on tax and securities law issues in connection with equity-based arrangements and incentive compensation plans
Ability to work in teams and manage transaction components independently
Outstanding academic credentials and comparable law firm experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Relevant bar admission preferred
Experience with ERISA and employee benefit plans is a plus
