Mid‑Level Associate, Private Equity Debt Finance — New York

Mid‑level associate role in a busy New York debt finance team focused on private equity‑sponsored and lender‑side financing transactions. You will work on leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings and growth financings across term and revolving facilities.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities include drafting and negotiating commitment papers, credit agreements and security/collateral documentation, and counseling sponsors, banks and private credit lenders on deal documentation and execution.

The team culture is collaborative and cross‑practice, offering exposure to complex financings and sophisticated clients within a high‑volume transactional environment.

• Experience representing private equity sponsors and/or banks and private credit lenders on term and revolving loan facilities (leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, growth financings)
• Proven ability drafting and negotiating commitment papers, credit agreements and collateral/security documents
• Outstanding academic record and prior experience at a comparable law firm or practice group
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; relevant bar admission or clear eligibility to obtain admission promptly
