Midlevel Private Equity Associate — Private Equity

Leading global law firm is seeking a midlevel Private Equity associate to join its U.S. private equity practice. This is a multi-office role with openings in several U.S. cities (including Charleston, Charlotte, Pittsburgh, Raleigh and Miami), supporting transactional and portfolio-company matters for national and international clients.

The role emphasizes acquisitions, dispositions and day-to-day corporate work for private equity-backed companies. You will work with experienced deal teams, receive mentoring, and take on increasing responsibility and client contact. Flexible hours and the ability to collaborate across offices are important.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) required.
• 4–6 years of private equity / corporate transactional experience, including acquisitions and dispositions.
• Experience advising on day-to-day matters for portfolio companies.
• Strong academics, excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to work independently and in teams.
