Of Counsel — Employment Litigation, Grand Rapids

Senior employment litigation role in a well-established national employment & labor practice. This position is based in Grand Rapids and supports defense-side litigation, agency matters, arbitration and mediations on behalf of employers.

Responsibilities include managing complex employment disputes (including class/collective actions and wage-and-hour claims), counseling and training employer clients, and supervising associates and support staff. Hybrid work arrangement.

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; strong academic record
• 9+ years of employment litigation experience with substantial first-chair trial and case-management experience
• Admission to the Michigan bar in good standing
• Experience supervising associates/paralegals and managing litigation teams
• Excellent written and oral communication, project-management, and client-counseling skills
