Apply in confidence →An appointment at partner level of this kind turns on the portability of the practice, far more than on any headline figure.
Senior partner appointment to lead and grow an established antitrust and competition practice from the firm's Oman office. The role will provide leadership as a senior partner and help transition the practice as current leadership approaches retirement.
The post-holder will advise on competition law matters across the Gulf region and act on cross-border merger control, competition investigations and related compliance work. This is a client-facing role with both advisory and strategic business-development responsibilities.
- Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD)
- Proven partner-level experience in antitrust & competition (merger control, investigations, compliance).
- Track record of originating and managing regional client relationships and cross-border matters.
- Experience leading a team and contributing to firm leadership and business development in Oman/the Gulf.
- Qualified solicitor/advocate or equivalent in a relevant jurisdiction.
If the fit is not obvious on paper, it is usually still worth talking — these mandates flex around the right practice.
