Senior hire to lead and expand a busy environmental compliance and regulatory practice in the Charleston office. The role will handle complex environmental matters, guide regulatory strategy for clients, and work closely with cross-practice teams on regulatory risk and permitting issues.

The team seeks a partner-level lawyer who can originate and manage client relationships, mentor junior lawyers, and help grow the practice commercially. CEQA experience is noted as desirable in the current brief.

Established partner-level experience in environmental law, regulatory compliance, or related practice areas.
Proven track record of originating and managing client matters; ability to bring or grow a portable practice.
Experience advising on environmental permitting, regulatory strategy, and compliance matters; CEQA experience a plus.
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills and experience working with multi-disciplinary teams.
