The role covers energy (including renewables and oil & gas), energy-related tax, environmental regulatory work, maritime and construction disputes and transactions, and infrastructure projects.
The post-holder will advise sponsors, developers, and commercial clients on regulatory, transactional and tax matters across the project lifecycle, and will collaborate with cross-practice teams on complex, multidisciplinary matters.
Portable business is welcomed — the firm seeks a partner who can bring and further develop client relationships while mentoring and building a local team.
- Seasoned partner-level lawyer with a track record in energy (renewables and/or oil & gas), environmental regulatory work, energy tax, maritime or construction matters.
- Proven client-development skills and experience managing transactions, projects or contentious matters at senior level; portable book of business encouraged.
- Experience working across multidisciplinary teams (tax, regulatory, transactional) and mentoring junior lawyers.
- Admitted and able to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction or eligible for admission.
