A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced lateral partner to join its Palo Alto office to lead and grow environmental regulatory and compliance work. The role will focus on advising clients on regulatory compliance, permitting, environmental review (CEQA), and related enforcement matters.

The partner will run and develop a portable practice, supervise and mentor a team of associates, and work closely with cross-practice colleagues on complex, multidisciplinary matters. Candidates should be comfortable managing client relationships and originating new business.

Established partner-level experience in environmental law, regulatory compliance, and permitting (CEQA experience strongly preferred)
Proven record of originating and managing client work and developing business
Experience leading teams and supervising associates
Active bar admission (California preferred)
Strong client-facing, drafting and negotiation skills
