Senior lateral partner opportunity in a corporate and finance practice in Washington, D.C., focused on private equity and venture capital work. The role will lead client engagements, originate new transactional opportunities and supervise deal teams across buyouts, growth financings and related corporate matters.

The team advises sponsors, growth companies and financial investors on a range of transactions, including acquisitions, investments and fund-related matters. This position offers a senior practice-building role with a pathway to equity partnership (equity not immediate).

Candidate will join a well-resourced practice and be expected to contribute business development, mentor junior lawyers, and maintain strong external client relationships.

Portable book of business of $3-4M (USD)
Established transactional practice in private equity and/or venture capital
Proven record of originating and leading complex M&A and financing deals
Strong team leadership and client development skills
