Partner — Corporate, Intellectual Property & Litigation, Washington, D.C.

Leading national law firm is seeking experienced lateral partners to join its Washington, D.C. office to help grow its corporate, intellectual property and litigation practices. The firm is focusing on partners who can originate work and collaborate across transactional and contentious matters, including M&A, corporate governance, emerging growth and patent litigation.

Candidates with a portable practice or demonstrable client origination capacity are preferred. There is flexibility on practice mix and office placement; the hiring team is open to partners with established books who want a platform to scale their practices regionally or nationally.

• Partner-level experience in corporate, IP and/or litigation practices.
• Proven track record of business development and client origination; portable book of business preferred.
• Experience handling M&A, corporate governance, emerging-growth company matters, or patent litigation at a senior level.
• Ability to work cross-practice and mentor junior lawyers.
