Seeking a lateral partner to grow a combined corporate transactions and commercial litigation practice in the firm's Houston office. The role prioritizes adding an established team or an individual with a demonstrable portable practice to expand transactional capacity and handle significant commercial disputes.

Ideal candidates will have experience across high‑value M&A, corporate governance and related transactional work together with major commercial litigation matters. The group serves clients across life sciences, financial services, technology, energy and automotive sectors and maintains active market focus in New York, Northern California, Texas, London and Germany.

Established partner-level credentials with a proven track record in both corporate transactions and commercial litigation
Significant portable practice / book of business and at least one anchor client (teams encouraged)
Experience in M&A, corporate governance and high‑stakes commercial disputes
Sector experience in life sciences, financial services, technology, energy or automotive preferred
Limited recent firm moves preferred (stable track record)
Admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction or ability to obtain licensure
