Leading international law firm is seeking a partner-level lateral to grow a combined transactional and commercial litigation platform in the Houston office. The role is focused on building market-facing capability across private equity, M&A and complex commercial disputes, with sector focus including life sciences, financial services, technology, energy and automotive.

The firm prefers to hire an established practice or small team rather than a single individual and is targeting candidates who can materially expand transactional volume and litigation capacity. The successful candidate will have responsibility for business development, client retention and cross‑office collaboration across the US and key international markets.

Established partner or team with a proven track record in M&A, private equity and/or complex commercial litigation
Demonstrable portable client relationships or book of business and ability to generate new mandates
Experience leading teams, originating work and collaborating across offices
Admission to practice in relevant US jurisdiction(s) and strong professional references
