Leading national law firm seeks a partner to build and lead an energy-focused practice from its Chicago office. The role will cover energy and renewable projects, environmental regulatory work, tax aspects of energy transactions, and maritime/construction matters tied to energy infrastructure.

Successful candidates will have an established practice or portable client relationships in energy or related infrastructure, plus experience advising on regulatory and transactional issues. The role involves originating and managing matters, mentoring junior lawyers, and partnering with national practice teams.

Established partner with a demonstrated track record in energy, renewables, or infrastructure transactions and regulatory matters
Experience with environmental and tax-related issues affecting energy projects; familiarity with maritime or construction aspects is a strong plus
Proven business development skills and an existing client base or demonstrable ability to originate work
Leadership and team management experience; admission to the relevant bar
