Leading international law practice is seeking a partner to grow and lead a finance-focused corporate and securities practice from the Newark office. The role will focus on advising private equity, venture capital and capital markets clients on transactional and capital-raising matters.

The team handles a broad range of finance and corporate securities work; the successful candidate will be expected to originate and manage high-value client engagements, supervise deal execution and mentor junior lawyers.

Portable client relationships and a demonstrated record of business development are welcome and will be considered in hiring and assignment decisions.

Established partner-level experience in finance, corporate and securities work, with a clear focus on private equity, venture capital and/or capital markets.
Proven track record of originating and managing client matters and developing business.
Strong deal execution skills and experience supervising teams on complex transactions.
Excellent communication, client management and leadership abilities.
