Partner — Finance & Corporate (Los Angeles)

Lead and grow a finance-focused practice within a large, global law firm’s Los Angeles office. The role emphasizes cross-practice work across finance, corporate and securities matters, with significant exposure to private equity, venture capital and capital markets transactions.

This is a partner-level opening for a rainmaker who will advise sophisticated clients on complex financing and transactional matters and help develop the office’s client base. The team handles a broad range of deals and capital markets work across industries.

Portable book of business is expected; the firm is seeking a partner who can both bring existing client relationships and collaborate on originating new mandates.

• Established partner with demonstrable experience in finance, corporate and securities transactions, ideally including private equity, venture capital or capital markets work.
• Proven track record of client origination and relationship management; ability to contribute a portable practice.
• Admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction (California preferred) and strong transactional drafting and deal execution skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across practice groups and mentor junior lawyers.
