Partner, Intellectual Property — Bloomfield Hills

Leading US law firm is seeking a partner to join its Intellectual Property practice in the Bloomfield Hills office. The role will involve advising clients across IP counseling, portfolio management and dispute matters, and contributing to growth of a busy, regional IP practice.

The successful candidate will join an established team and be expected to provide client-facing leadership, mentor junior lawyers, and collaborate across practices on transactional and contentious IP work. A portable practice or the ability to originate and grow client relationships is welcome.

• Proven partner- or senior-level experience in intellectual property law (prosecution, counseling and/or litigation).
• Active bar registration and relevant technical or patent qualifications where applicable.
• Track record of client development and the ability to build a portable practice.
• Team leadership and mentoring experience; strong commercial judgment and communication skills.
