Partner — Intellectual Property Litigation, Chicago

Leading regional/national IP litigation and patent prosecution practice seeking a lateral partner to join a busy Chicago office. The role combines courtroom and patent prosecution work across varied technologies and requires hands-on management of high-stakes disputes and patent portfolios.

The partner will develop client relationships, supervise associates and guide litigation strategy from pre-suit through trial and appeal, while also overseeing patent prosecution matters. The team values a commercially minded, client-facing partner who can help grow a portable practice.

• Established partner or counsel with a record of handling IP litigation and patent prosecution matters
• Significant trial and/or contested proceedings experience preferred
• Ability to manage and mentor associates and lead cross-functional teams
• Track record of originating and developing client relationships; portable practice welcomed
• Active bar admission and, where applicable, registration with the US Patent and Trademark Office
