Partner, Intellectual Property Litigation — Los Angeles

Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Intellectual Property litigation team in the Los Angeles office. The role focuses on managing and expanding a high‑value patent practice, handling both prosecution and patent litigation matters across technology and life‑sciences matters.

The successful candidate will lead case teams, advise sophisticated clients on enforcement and defense strategies, and work closely with cross‑practice colleagues on complex IP disputes and transactional matters. There is an expectation to contribute to business development and to bring a portable practice or established client relationships.

• Established partner with substantial experience in patent prosecution and patent litigation.
• Proven track record of running matters from intake through trial/appeal and supervising legal teams.
• Demonstrable business development ability and experience managing client relationships; portable practice preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude, excellent writing and advocacy skills, and ability to work across practice groups.
