Leading national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to build and lead its Intellectual Property litigation practice in the Santa Monica (Los Angeles) office. The role focuses on managing complex IP disputes across technology and life sciences matters and representing clients before trial and appellate tribunals.

The partner will supervise and develop a team of litigators, collaborate with national office colleagues, and play a key role in client development. The firm welcomes candidates with a demonstrable portable practice and established client relationships.

Established partner-level IP litigator with a track record of handling complex patent and other IP disputes
Extensive courtroom and motion practice experience; able to lead trials and significant procedural matters
Proven team leadership and ability to mentor associates
Demonstrable client origination and a portable book of business welcomed
