Partner — Intellectual Property Litigation, Washington, D.C.

Seeking a lateral partner to join a national firm’s Washington, D.C. office to lead and grow its intellectual property practice, with emphasis on patent litigation and prosecution. The role combines courtroom-focused patent litigation work with oversight of patent prosecution matters across technology sectors.

The partner will work with experienced litigation teams and coordinate cross-office matters, helping to expand client relationships and originate new business. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a portable IP practice within a well-established, full-service firm platform.

• Established partner-level experience in patent litigation and patent prosecution.
• Proven record of leading litigation teams and managing complex patent matters (trial or high-stakes dispositive experience preferred).
• Demonstrable ability to bring or develop client relationships / portable practice.
• Bar admission in DC or eligibility to transfer; strong writing, oral advocacy, and client-management skills.
