Partner — Intellectual Property & Technology, Palo Alto

Leading U.S. law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Silicon Valley / Palo Alto IP & Technology team. The role focuses on counseling and litigating matters at the intersection of intellectual property, telecommunications and life sciences for technology-sector clients.

The partner will lead client engagements, develop business in the region, and work collaboratively across national and cross-practice teams. The position is suited to an experienced lawyer with a portable technology/IP practice or established client relationships in telecom or life sciences.

• Established partner track record in intellectual property and technology matters (counseling and/or litigation)
• Experience in telecommunications and/or life sciences-related technology matters preferred
• Proven ability to originate and manage client work; portable practice or demonstrable business development successes
• Bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction (California preferred) and capacity to work from the Palo Alto/Silicon Valley office
