Leading national law firm seeking a lateral partner to join its San Francisco litigation team with a primary focus on patent litigation and antitrust matters. The role will support contentious work across life sciences and technology sectors and collaborate with teams handling private equity–related competition disputes and energy matters.

Ideal candidates will be experienced trial litigators who can lead complex patent cases and contribute to antitrust/competition litigation. The position offers a platform to work on cross-practice, high‑stakes disputes alongside established regional and national teams.

Portable practice and demonstrable business development ability are important for this role; the firm welcomes partners with an existing book of business and a track record of client origination.

Established partner-level patent litigation and antitrust/competition litigation experience (life sciences and/or technology strongly preferred)
Proven trial and/or complex litigation experience and courtroom presence
Demonstrable business development skills and a portable practice
Bar admission in California or eligibility to become admitted
JD degree from an accredited law school
