Leading international law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Houston tax and estate planning practice. The role will focus on advising high‑net‑worth individuals, families and closely held businesses on estate, gift and other tax‑planning matters and structuring wealth‑transfer strategies.

The partner will lead client work, develop and grow a portable practice, and collaborate with corporate and litigation colleagues on integrated client solutions. This is a rainmaking role with significant client contact and business‑development responsibility.

The team offers a platform of national and cross‑border resources; the successful candidate will leverage those capabilities while maintaining an independent client franchise in the region.

Established partner with substantial experience in tax and estate planning/advisory work.
Proven ability to originate and nurture client relationships; a portable practice or demonstrable book of business is required.
Strong technical skills in estate, gift and related tax planning and familiarity with wealth‑transfer vehicles.
Licensed to practice in Texas (or qualified to obtain admission) and able to work from the Houston office.
Track record of mentoring junior lawyers and collaborating across practices to deliver integrated client solutions.
