Leading German law firm is seeking a partner to join its Technology, Media & Entertainment and Intellectual Property practice in the Berlin office. The role will focus on advising technology and media clients on IP strategy, commercial agreements, licensing and related contentious and non-contentious matters.

The successful candidate will take a visible leadership role within the practice, working with cross-practice teams on technology-driven transactions and disputes. This is a strategic hire intended to grow the team’s market presence in Germany.

Open to candidates with an established, portable practice or strong client relationships relevant to technology, media or IP work.

Qualified lawyer admitted in Germany (or equivalent EU qualification) with partner-level experience in technology/IP or media and entertainment work.
Proven track record of advising on commercial technology contracts, IP licensing and related disputes; experience on transactional and advisory matters.
Established client relationships or a portable practice in the German market; commercial business development skills.
Strong German and English language skills; ability to lead teams and develop business.
