An established national law firm is seeking a highly qualified Intellectual Property Associate to join its Patent Group's Biotechnology team in Atlanta. This is an opportunity to work within a patent practice that provides industry-wide services in patent prosecution, patent portfolio development and management, patent diligence investigations, and client counseling on enforcement and defense matters.

The role involves life sciences-related patent and IP work, including counseling and due diligence, patent preparation and prosecution, and drafting and negotiating IP agreements. The team also handles interparty disputes and collaborates on transactions.

3–6 years of experience in life sciences-related patent and IP work, including counseling, due diligence, patent preparation and prosecution, and drafting/negotiating IP agreements
Graduate degree in molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry, or a related area required; Ph.D. preferred
Experience in interparty matters is desirable but not required
Excellent academic credentials and strong writing, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
Active Bar admission in Georgia (or ability to waive in) and registration with the USPTO
